  2. Choose how to flip the pages

    Flip horizontally reflects each page from left to right. Text reads backwards, like a reflection in a mirror. This can be useful for heat-transfer printing or transparent film.

    Flip vertically reflects each page from top to bottom. Preview both choices before saving. The default applies to all pages and files. Use each page’s selector to choose a different direction, both axes or no flip. Every page has a preview.

    Flipping creates a reflection. Rotating turns a page in 90-degree steps. To rotate pages instead, use Rotate PDF.

  3. Flip and download

    Click “Flip PDF”, then download the mirrored document. For several files, download each PDF or get a ZIP containing them all. Original page sizes, crop areas and text resolution are retained.

If any page is flipped, forms become fixed page content; unsupported annotation appearances on mirrored pages are rejected. Processing remains on your device with the shared trial/paid-pass gate. Registered accounts can start 30 continuous minutes of all-tools access every 3 hours, measured from the previous start. Idle time counts; unused minutes do not roll over. What is the difference between horizontal and vertical flipping?

Horizontal flipping mirrors a page left to right; vertical flipping mirrors top to bottom. Both axes applies both reflections. Choose No flip to keep a page as it was. Each page has its own selector, and a default can be applied to every file.

Does flipping reduce PDF text or image quality?

No rasterization or image recompression is used. The original text, fonts and vector content are transformed in place. Page sizes, crop areas and existing rotation are retained. Review the downloaded PDF, particularly if it contains annotations.

Can I flip multiple PDF files at once?

Yes. Add up to ten unlocked PDFs, each at most 150 pages, with 350 MB per file and per batch. Use a common default or customize each page in the selected file. Page settings persist when switching files. Download individual PDFs or a ZIP.

What happens to forms and annotations?

Existing form appearances are flattened into fixed page graphics before mirroring. Supported saved annotation appearances and link areas are mirrored. Annotations without usable appearances may be rejected; flatten those annotations in your PDF application first. Mirroring changes the file and does not preserve digital signature validity.

Are my PDF documents uploaded?

No. Previewing, mirroring and ZIP generation happen on your device. If you use Google Drive or Dropbox, download the PDF to your device first and select it here.

Can I use Flip PDF on my phone?

Yes. The responsive workspace supports phones, tablets and desktop browsers. Try all tools for 30 minutes without registration, then sign in for an all-tools access pass.
