How do I use Audio Converter?

Choose one or more supported audio files or videos containing sound. Review each waveform and original listening preview, choose the controls and output format, then press Convert audio. Listen to the actual results before downloading individually or as a ZIP.

Which output formats and quality controls are available?

Export MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, AAC or Opus. Choose bitrate where applicable, sample rate, source/mono/stereo channels and 16/24-bit PCM WAV. Opus uses 48,000 Hz and at most 256 kbps in this interface. Re-encoding cannot restore quality lost in the source.

Can I process multiple files or extract sound from video?

Yes. Add up to eight supported audio/video sources within the shared byte and duration budgets. The first audio track is used from a video; the exported result is audio only. Each source is processed serially, and completed results can be saved individually or as a ZIP.

Are my recordings sent to an audio server?

No. Decoding, filtering, encoding and ZIP generation run on your device. The local engine downloads from this site on first use. Your recordings and result blobs are not sent to an external audio service or stored in the site’s service-worker cache.

What happens if I change settings or cancel?

Exports always read the original file. Changed controls mark existing results as previous settings; process again to update them. ZIP is enabled when all completed results match the current settings. Cancellation retains originals and completed results so you can retry or download them.

What are the upload and trial limits?

This tool is completely free without registration, payment or a session time limit. Use it as often as you like. Published file, codec and device-memory limits still apply. Other tools have separate access rules.
